Frequently Asked Questions

Are barrel pants still in style in 2026?
Yes. Barrel pants are the current wide silhouette, sitting alongside wide leg and straight cuts rather than replacing them, and the shape has run through Uniqlo, H&M and COS ranges across 2025 and 2026. If you want a wide leg that is neither a flare nor a straight leg, the barrel is the third option. Burnt orange makes it a statement piece; the rest of our pants cover the plainer versions.
Can you wear barrel pants at any age?
Yes. A barrel leg is a proportion choice, not an age one: the volume sits through the thigh and the ankle stays narrow, which is a flattering line on any figure at any age. What makes it read as intentional rather than accidental is the rest of the outfit. A fitted or tucked top and a shoe with some structure, a loafer or a boot, do that at twenty and at sixty.
Do barrel pants run true to size?
Go by the chart, not the letter. These barrel pants are measured flat in centimetres, and the waist runs from 68 cm on a size S to 84 cm on a 2XL, which is smaller per letter than most US brands cut. Measure the waist of trousers you already own, match that number to the table, and take the larger size if you fall between two: the fabric has no stretch.
Do barrel pants stretch?
No. The fabric is a cotton polyester blend with no elastane, and that is deliberate. Stretch would soften the curve through the thigh and let the barrel collapse toward a straight leg; a firm twill is what holds the shape. It also means the waist does not give, so size for comfort at the waist and rely on the cut, not the fabric, for room through the hip.
Are these barrel jeans or barrel pants?
Pants. The fabric is a cotton polyester twill, not denim, so they wash and wear like trousers rather than jeans and hold a bright colour far better than orange denim would, which fades unevenly at the seams. The cut is the same barrel shape you would find on a barrel jean: curved through the thigh and knee, narrow at the ankle. If you want the shape in denim, our barrel jeans do that.
Do orange barrel pants have pockets?
Yes, four, all functional. Two slanted pockets at the front, cut into the side seam so they add no bulk at the hip, and two patch pockets at the back. On a leg this wide a full front pocket does not print through the fabric the way it would on a slim trouser, which is one of the practical reasons the barrel shape works for everyday wear.
