Biker shorts and sports bra set

A two piece in one colour. A thin strap sports bra with a scoop neck, and high waist biker shorts that finish mid thigh.

Both pieces are cut from the same four way stretch knit with no seam through the front. The shorts have a wide waistband that sits above the navel and a centre back seam.

The fit

The bra pulls on over the head with fixed straps and no closure. The shorts sit high on the waist with no drawstring.

Sizes S to XL. The shorts measure 52 cm at the waist and 68 cm at the hip on a size S, rising to 64 cm and 80 cm on an XL, with a length of 38.5 cm to 41.5 cm. The bra measures 66 cm to 78 cm at the bust with a 60 cm to 72 cm band. All measured flat.

The chart also maps size to height and weight: S suits roughly 155 to 165 cm and 40 to 55 kg, XL suits up to 180 cm and 90 kg.

Are these biker shorts squat proof?
The knit is a double layer with four way stretch and the dark colours, black, navy and dark coffee, stay fully opaque under stretch. Sky blue and caramel brown are the two to hold against your hand in daylight first. There is a centre back seam rather than a flat panel, which is what holds the shape through the seat.
How long is the inseam on these biker shorts?
The chart gives total length rather than inseam: 38.5 cm on a size S rising to 41.5 cm on an XL, measured from the waistband to the hem. That lands mid thigh, roughly a hand's width above the knee. It is a mid length biker short, not a running short and not a cycling short.
Do these have padding for cycling?
No. There is no chamois pad. These are biker shorts in the fashion and gym sense, a fitted mid thigh short, not padded cycling shorts. For actual road cycling you want a chamois short.

Will the waistband roll down?
The waistband is wide and sits above the navel, which is what stops rolling on a high waist short. Rolling happens when the band is too small for the waist rather than too large, so if you are between sizes go up rather than down.
Can I wear the two pieces separately?
Yes. The shorts pair with any crop or oversized tee, and the bra works under an open shirt. Buying the set gets you the matched colour, not pieces that only work together.
Can I put these in the tumble dryer?
No. Hand wash in cool water and hang to dry. Do not iron and do not bleach. Heat is what destroys the recovery in a stretch knit, and a biker short that has lost its recovery goes baggy at the seat after a few wears.
