Wide leg halter jumpsuit

A casual jumpsuit for women that works for a coffee run, a class, or a flight. The halter neck ties behind the neck, the back is open to the waist, and the leg falls wide and flared from mid-thigh.

The fabric is 75% nylon and 25% spandex, a soft four-way stretch knit that holds its shape through a full day. The whole piece weighs 220 grams. There is no seam at the waist, so the line runs unbroken from the bust to the hem.

The fit

Fitted through the bust, waist and hip, then released into a wide leg. The square neckline sits straight across. The halter strap is fixed, not adjustable. There are no bra pads and no built-in support, so wear it with your own strapless or adhesive bra.

Sizes S to XL. Length runs 127.5 cm on a size S to 132 cm on an XL, measured from the neckline to the hem. Bust runs 64 cm to 76 cm and hip 72 cm to 84 cm, measured flat and unstretched. If you are between sizes on the bust, size up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this jumpsuit have a built-in bra?
No. This is a one piece with no bra pads and no shelf bra. The supplier specification confirms it ships without pads. The halter neckline sits high enough across the bust that a strapless bra or adhesive cups work well underneath. If you prefer built-in support, our bandeau bra and shorts set has removable pads.
How does the wide leg jumpsuit fit through the hip?
Fitted. The hip measures 72 cm on a size S and 84 cm on an XL, taken flat and unstretched, and the nylon-spandex knit has roughly four-way stretch on top of that. The leg stays close to the thigh and releases into a wide flare from around mid-thigh, so the fit is snug where the body is and loose from there down.
Can I wear this jumpsuit to work out?
It is made from the same nylon-spandex knit used in activewear and it moves freely, so it handles a walk, a stretch session or a light class. It is not a compression garment and it has no bra support, so for running or anything high impact you would want a proper sports bra underneath or a dedicated set instead.
How do I go to the bathroom in a one piece jumpsuit?
This style pulls down from the shoulders rather than opening at the waist. The halter unties or slips over the head, and the stretch in the fabric means the whole piece comes down in one movement. There is no zip and no gusset opening. It is the same routine as any halter one piece.
What size should I order if I am between sizes?
Size up, and size up on the bust measurement rather than the hip. The bust is the tightest point on this cut and there is no adjustable strap to give you room. The chart runs S 64 cm, M 68 cm, L 72 cm, XL 76 cm on the bust. Measure around the fullest part and compare, remembering the garment is measured flat and unstretched.
Is the pink jumpsuit see-through?
The fabric is a double layer knit at 220 grams, which is heavier than a standard single jersey legging. In the pale colours, pink, white and sand, hold the fabric against your hand in daylight before you decide on underwear. The darker colours, black, coffee, red and grey, are fully opaque.
How long is the leg on a size small?
127.5 cm from the neckline to the hem on a size S, rising to 132 cm on an XL. That is the full length of the garment, not the inseam. On someone around 165 cm tall the hem sits at the floor with flat shoes, which is how the flare is meant to hang. If you are shorter than 160 cm the leg will pool unless you wear a heel.
Can I put this jumpsuit in the tumble dryer?
No. Hand wash in cold water, do not bleach, do not iron, and line dry. Nylon-spandex loses its recovery in a hot dryer, which is what makes a garment like this go baggy at the knee and seat. Cold water and air drying will keep the shape through repeated wear.

I took size M for my XS-S and it was a good choice.
The top fits very tightly, the bottom is easier to put on.
For my height of 160 cm, it's ankle-length.
So I think it won't look very flattering on tall people.
