Frequently Asked Questions

Do these yoga pants have pockets?
The supplier specification lists utility pockets at the side seam. They are not visible in the product photographs because the seam sits flat when the pocket is empty. If pockets are essential to your purchase, message us before you order and we will confirm on the specific colour you want.
Are wide leg yoga pants see-through when you bend?
The knit is 90% nylon and 10% spandex, and the cut is loose from the thigh down rather than stretched tight across the seat, which is where sheerness usually shows. The white and grey are the two to watch. Hold the fabric against your hand in daylight if you are unsure.
What is the inseam on these yoga pants?
The chart gives outside leg length rather than inseam: 98 cm on a size S rising to 103.1 cm on an XL, measured from the top of the waistband to the hem. On someone around 168 cm tall the hem sits at the floor with flat shoes, which is how a wide leg is meant to fall.
Can I wear these to yoga, or are they only for lounging?
They handle both. The nylon-spandex knit moves in every direction and wicks, so a flow class or a stretch session is fine. The wide leg is the limit: it will slide down your shin in a shoulder stand or an inversion, so for those, a fitted legging is better.
How does the drawstring waist work?
The waistband is elastic all the way round, with a drawstring threaded through it that ties at the front. You can wear it loose on the elastic alone, or pull the drawstring to tighten. It does not have a functional fly.
Do they run true to size?
Yes, take your usual size. Waist runs 68 cm on a size S to 80 cm on an XL, hip 91 cm to 103 cm, measured flat and unstretched. The waistband has a lot of give beyond those figures. If you are between sizes and want a looser drape through the hip, size up.
What colour yoga pants go with everything?
Black and grey are the two that disappear under any top. White reads as a summer trouser rather than activewear. The coffee and navy sit between the two, smart enough to wear out and soft enough to wear at home.
Can I tumble dry these yoga pants?
No. Machine wash cold and hang to dry. Nylon-spandex loses its recovery in a hot dryer, which is what makes trousers go baggy at the knee and seat after a few washes. Cold water and air drying keep the shape.
