Workout set with halter bra and wide leg trousers

A two piece in one colour. A halter neck bra that ties behind the neck with an open back, and high waist trousers that fall wide and straight from the hip.

Both pieces are 80% nylon and 20% elastane at 230 grams, a four way stretch knit with no seam through the front.

The fit

The bra has a wide neckline, an open back and a fixed halter tie. The trousers sit high on the waist with a flat front and no drawstring.

Choose the bra by cup size. S fits 32A to 32C and 30D. M fits 34A to 34C and 32D. L fits 36A to 36C and 34D. XL fits 38A to 38C and 36D.

The trouser waistband stretches from 57 to 62 cm on a size S up to 73 to 78 cm on an XL, with a hip range of 95 to 100 cm rising to 107 to 112 cm. Outside leg length runs 106 cm to 109 cm. Measured flat, supplier tolerance 1 to 4 cm.

Care

Machine wash cold at 30 degrees or below with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not wring. Cool iron only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the halter bra stay put without shoulder straps?
It ties behind the neck, so the weight sits on the neck rather than the shoulders and the band holds at the ribcage. That works well for pilates, yoga, stretching and walking. It is not adjustable at the band, so for running you would want a sports bra with a proper closure.
Are the trousers long enough if I am tall?
Outside leg runs 106 cm on a size S to 109 cm on an XL, measured from the waistband to the hem. On someone around 170 cm the hem sits at the floor with flat shoes, which is how a wide leg is meant to fall. Above about 178 cm the hem will sit at the ankle instead.
What size workout set should I order?
The two pieces size differently, so check both. The bra goes by cup size: S is 32A to 32C and 30D, up to XL at 38A to 38C and 36D. The trousers go by waist: the band stretches 57 to 62 cm on a size S and 73 to 78 cm on an XL. If those point at different sizes, order the larger and let the stretch take up the slack.
Is the back of the bra completely open?
Yes. The halter ties at the neck and the back is cut away below the shoulder blades, with a band across the underbust holding it. That is why it photographs well and why it will not work under a racerback top.
Are the trousers see-through when you bend?
The knit is 230 grams with four way stretch, which is heavier than a standard legging. The dark colours are fully opaque. Cloud blue and peach pink are the two to hold against your hand in daylight, because pale colours over a stretched seat are where sheerness shows.
Can I wear the pieces separately?
Yes. The trousers work with any top and read as a soft wide leg trouser rather than activewear. The halter bra works under an open shirt. The set exists so the colours match, not because the pieces are joined.
Does the bra have removable padding?
The photographs show a smooth front with no visible pad pocket. This set is listed without removable cups. If you want a bra with pads that lift out, our bandeau bra has them.
Can I tumble dry this workout set?
No. Wash cold at 30 degrees with a mild detergent, do not bleach, do not wring, and hang to dry. Nylon elastane loses its recovery in a hot dryer, which is what makes a wide leg go baggy at the knee and a bra band go slack.
